Ensemble Tesse: Lancement d’album – Concerti

L’Ensemble Tesse est heureux de vous convier à son évènement festif de fin de saison à la Chapelle Saint-Hilda dans Rosemont! Nous soulignerons avec vous le lancement notre album “Concerti” sur toutes les plateformes, en version audiovisuelle et audio.
17h- arrivée et apéro festif (bulles et grignotines offerts sur place)
18h30- Courte performance de l’ensemble
20h30- fin de l’évènement
Des extraits de notre film seront également projetés.
Nous marquons ainsi la fin du cycle de notre projet Concerti, soutenu par le Conseil des Arts du Canada pour sa création et sa production et par le Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec ainsi que par le pôle relève du groupe le Vivier pour sa présentation en concert à Montréal, à Gatineau et à Jonquière.
Concerti c’est: six oeuvres à géométrie variable entièrement composées et interprétées par ses membres et mettant en lumière les six solistes et improvisateurs de l’ensemble.

FILMharmonique Orchestra: The Nightmare before Christmas in concert

The FILMharmonic Orchestra embarks on another adventure with Tim Burton’s stop-motion masterpiece!

Scored by the legendary Danny Elfman, the film follows the earnest-but-misguided adventures of Jack Skellington, Halloween Town’s beloved Pumpkin King, as he attempts to take over the Christmas holiday. Against the advice of Sally, a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters to help him kidnap Santa Claus.

Led by Maestro Erik Ochsner, this concert is sure to be a treat for the whole family!

Ensemble Tesse: Concerti (Preview projection)

Ensemble Tesse invites you to an evening during which the entirety of their audiovisual album Concerti will be screened for the very first time and in optimal conditions.
This project, recorded at Piccolo Studios in July 2022, presents six new works created and composed by the ensemble. The six pieces follow one another and feature each of the ensemble’s six soloist-improvisers in varying formations. The title ‘Concerti’ refers to the concertante genre, but cheerfully deconstructs the expectations traditionally associated with it.
In collaboration with the director Remi Hermoso, who has done some exceptional visual work, the ensemble invites you to share with them a preview of this cinematographic, musical and experimental work, which has been calibrated in 5.1 audio expressly for this screening.
The bar of the Cinéma Moderne will be open before and after the event to discuss and celebrate with you.
